Entering the Castillo Lucena, guests will walk through sixteenth-century palace double doors from Southern Spain which grace the venue’s entrance. Hailing from the village of Lucena in northern Andalusia, the massive two-paneled pine door complements Montelucia’s Old World architecture and tranquil grounds, adding an authentic touch to the venue and ensuring an event site that will create lifelong memories for the wedding party and guests.

The Valencia Ballroom opens directly onto a manicured lawn with striking views of Camelback Mountain. This functionality allows for seamless indoor/outdoor reception space, or cocktail hour to reception transition. With lower, beveled ceilings, the Valencia Ballroom offers a more intimate atmosphere for you and your guests.

At nearly 4,600 square feet, the Valencia Ballroom is a perfect reception location for parties up to 320 guests with room for a stage and dance area.

The semi-private Valencia Lawn boasts lovely views of Camelback Mountain, as well as 8,722 square feet of useable outdoor space directly adjacent to the Valencia Ballroom which provides the ultimate in ease of traffic flow for guests. A beautiful garden setting for a classic outdoor celebration with the convenience of ballroom access, the Valencia Lawn provides a picturesque and memorable ceremony or event location.

The Valencia Lawn provides space to comfortably seat up to 650 guests for a wedding ceremony.

It is also an ideal addition to the Valencia Ballroom for an indoor/outdoor reception experience. The lawn has 8,722 square feet of useable outdoor space, with the capability to seat up to 750 guests for a wedding reception.

The rich colors of the décor add romance to the reception, while the ample amount of space for entertainment and dancing gives guests the opportunity to comfortably enjoy the evening. Ideal for large receptions and offering beautiful architecture as well as endless décor possibilities, this ballroom totals over 9,200 square feet. Combine this with the beautiful outdoor Alhambra Terrace for an additional 6,300 square feet, as well as the Alhambra Foyer for your cocktail reception.

The Alhambra Ballroom can accommodate a dinner reception as large as 660 guests.

The Camelback Wedding Villa includes 2,800 square feet of living space for the bride and groom. At the suite entrance, you will find two private cabanas to provide for the ultimate in privacy and seclusion while enjoying the sparking pool. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa is an idyllic locale to prepare for the big day with privacy and convenience, all within an enclosed, exclusive area of the resort. The master bath includes salon amenities, such as a full-length makeup mirror and hairstyling chairs which allow the bride to prepare in privacy with her bridal party. There is also an expansive great room designed for family and guests to convent and celebrate after the event.

The event lawn includes 4,000 square feet of manicured lawn for the ceremony and reception and has an impressive, unobstructed view of breathtaking Camelback Mountain. Men’s and women’s exterior
restrooms facilities are adjacent to the Villa, providing ready access for guests during lawn events.

The Camelback Wedding Villa lawn comfortably seats 350 guests for a wedding ceremony, or 230 guests for a wedding reception.

The Sunset Lawn offers a secluded garden setting with stunning views of Camelback Mountain for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The court is surrounded by trellises of bougainvillea, and mature orange and palm trees, providing a classic outdoor wedding location tucked away within the garden-like environs of the resort.

The Sunset Lawn comfortably seats 650 guests for a wedding ceremony, or 300 guests for a wedding reception.
